Christine M. Manzo is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Mrs. Manzo joined the firm in March 2010 and focuses her practice in the areas of financial services litigation, consumer protection statute defense, premises liability and personal injury.
Mrs. Manzo has significant experience defending claims arising under the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and claims arising from state fair lending, collection, and deceptive trade practice laws.
In addition to her representation of institutional lending and banking clients, Mrs. Manzo represents a number of clients, including the country’s largest retailer, in defense of premises liability, personal injury, and general negligence claims.
Mrs. Manzo earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as member of the Law College Council and the Honor Committee. She also received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude at the University of Florida.
Mrs. Manzo serves as the Chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee.
