Mr. Cuneo is a Shareholder of the Firm and heads the firm’s complex residential foreclosure and bankruptcy groups. He joined the Firm in 2001. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Cuneo practiced primarily in the areas of commercial litigation. He concentrates his practice in commercial and securities litigation, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy.
Mr. Cuneo represents public and private entities in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts in complex litigation matters, including bank fraud and UCC disputes, real property disputes, securities litigation and arbitrations, commercial bank loan litigation, commercial and residential foreclosures, commercial insurance disputes, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, and bankruptcy litigation.
Born in Queens, New York on November 19, 1971, Mr. Cuneo was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997. Mr. Cuneo graduated cum laude from Florida International University in 1994, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations. In 1997, he graduated cum laude from Florida State University, College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree.
A Miami resident, Mr. Cuneo is an active member of the Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association.
