Marta R. Acosta

 Ms. Acosta is an associate of the Firm and a member of the Litigation Department.  She joined the Firm in 2008.   Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Acosta worked for a Coral Gables based firm where she concentrated her practice on commercial litigation matters. She also has experience in the areas of labor and employment, family law, and real estate law.  

Ms. Acosta graduated from the University of Warsaw, Poland, in 2001, with a Master of Laws Degree.  As part of her undergraduate studies of civil law, she was a participant of the course of the European Union law held by the Cambridge University in Poland.  In 2000, she was awarded a diploma in the European Union Law by the Cambridge University.  

In 2004, Ms. Acosta obtained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.  In 2006, Ms. Acosta earned her Juris Doctor from the same institution.

A Miami resident, Ms. Acosta is an active member of the community through her volunteer work with the Junior League of Miami.
