Kelly L. Casey
Kelly L. Casey
Ms. Casey is an associate of the Firm and a member of the Litigation Department. Ms. Casey joined the Firm in 2011, and specializes in representing financial institutions. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Casey practiced at an AV-rated firm specializing in insurance defense litigation and medical malpractice defense matters.
Ms. Casey graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2010. While in law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court Board, serving as the Board’s Executive Vice President. In 2009, Ms. Casey was the overall winner and best brief winner of the George Washington University National Security Law Moot Court Competition. In 2010, Ms. Casey was invited to participate in the National Moot Court Championship, where the nation’s top 16 Moot Court Boards competed for the national title of Best Moot Court Board in the country. In addition to her activities with the Moot Court Board, Ms. Casey was a student attorney for the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic, and interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge John O’Sullivan in the Southern District of Florida.
